Veepos is the largest cottage on Petersfield - created for families and groups who want to be together, without feeling confined. Set against a striking rock outcrop, it opens out over the Olifants River valley with wide, uninterrupted views that shift beautifully throughout the day.

From the moment you arrive, it feels secluded and self-contained. There are no interruptions, no passing traffic - just space, silence, and the sense that time has slowed down.

Inside, the cottage is designed for easy, relaxed living. A generous open-plan space with a fireplace anchors the home, making it just as inviting in winter as it is in summer. Three comfortable bedrooms sleep up to six guests (one king, two singles, and two three-quarter beds), making it ideal for families or a group of friends sharing a weekend away.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to settle in properly - whether that’s a quick morning coffee or a long, slow dinner that turns into an evening around the fire. Bedding and towels are provided, and if you’d like an extra layer of ease, servicing can be arranged on request.

Step outside, and Veepos really comes into its own.

A wide stoep spills onto a private terrace where a plunge pool, lined with white river stones, offers the perfect escape on warm days. Tucked into the surrounding rocks, the outdoor shower brings a raw, natural element to the experience - simple, refreshing, and surprisingly indulgent.
